Meet Anjali Varma.

Anjali Varma is a US-based marketing and arts administration professional with a strong background in community engagement and event management.

I interviewed Anjali to learn more about her and her work, hear her arts and culture hot top ten, and play the This or That game. You can watch the videos below.

With a Master's in Arts Administration from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the National Institute of Technology Calicut in India, Anjali's passion lies in promoting and preserving arts, history, and culture while fostering growth and engagement in the cultural sector.

Meet Anjali

As the Development and Engagement Manager at the India Arts Foundation (IAF) in Connecticut, Anjali played a pivotal role in identifying potential sponsors and partnerships while establishing systematic donor cultivation and development strategies.

Her dedication to the arts also shines through her work as the Workshop Coordinator at the American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina, where she adeptly managed festival-wide communications, class logistics, and schedules.

Anjali's event coordination skills span from in-person events at the Indiana University Auditorium to remote management for an Online International Cultural Event.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, Tessitura, ClickUp and MailChimp, her aptitude for project management makes her a valuable asset in any administrative role.

Currently, she serves as a Marketing Apprentice at Minuet Media alongside ACN regular Jennie Legary, a role she found via The Arts and Culture Network. Learn more about this success story here. It was late in the UK and that's why I look purple:

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam, and actively learning Spanish, Anjali's multilingual abilities enhance her communication and relationship-building skills.

Additionally, she is a trained dancer and singer, passionately exploring new melodies on her guitar and piano in her free time.
