Meet Elena Kupreeva.
Meet Elena Kupreeva, the creative powerhouse behind ArtInterior and an intrepid explorer of both artistic and corporate worlds.
She’s a visual artist, brand ambassador, M&A manager, event planner, speaker, and sales expert, with an insatiable curiosity that drives her continually to reinvent herself. Whether she's crafting exquisite interior designs, championing fine Bordeaux wines, or navigating complex mergers and acquisitions, Elena brings a touch of artistry to everything she does.
Mark got to know Elena well in their interview, discussing her upcoming events, approach to furniture making, and passion for high-quality, unique interior design. Creating her fantasy cultural year gave Mark an insight into Elena's world.
Early years
Elena’s artistic journey began at the age of 12, inspired by the vibrant cultural tapestry of her surroundings.
After relocating with her family to Washington D.C., she honed her talents at the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Arts, where she earned the “Blue Ribbon for Arts” accolade and specialised in Visual Arts.
Academic Pursuits: The Foundations of Design
Post high school, Elena’s passion for creativity led her to the Corcoran School of Arts and Design, where she majored in graphic design and commercial art. Her time there was marked by an exploration of various media and techniques, laying a solid foundation for her future endeavours.
Corporate Adventures: From Sales to the High Seas
Elena’s career took a turn towards the corporate sphere, where she dabbled in a plethora of roles. Starting in sales for a management consulting firm in Moscow, she quickly climbed the ranks to become a Business Development Manager. Her corporate journey then led her to oversee contractors for Worley Parsons' pioneering open-sea oil extraction platform, a role that tested her project management and strategic planning skills.
A Swiss Renaissance: Reigniting the Artistic Flame
In 2010, Elena moved to Switzerland, marking a renaissance in her artistic pursuits.
Immersed in the serene Swiss landscape, she rekindled her passion for visual arts, creating works that spanned an eclectic array of styles and techniques. Her anti-stress colouring books gained widespread acclaim, and her art was featured in esteemed publications like British Vogue, Life Magazine, and the Boesner Schweiz Catalog.
ArtInterior: Crafting Spaces with Soul
June 2023 saw the birth of Elena's latest venture, ArtInterior. This innovative platform epitomises elegance and refinement, offering sleek, vivid, and adaptable designs tailored to any space. Despite its recent inception, ArtInterior has enjoyed remarkable success, with its collections resonating deeply across various settings, from lounges to hotels and offices.
A Versatile Ambassador: Championing Fine Wines
In May 2024, Elena added another feather to her cap by becoming the brand ambassador for Chateau L’Eperon and Hautbois Champagne. Her role involves leveraging her extensive sales expertise and passion for fine wines to promote these exquisite brands globally.
Present Day: A Fusion of Creativity and Expertise
Today, Elena continues to wear many hats. She’s a visual artist, an event planner, a sought-after speaker, and a seasoned M&A manager.
