Meet Erika Dittmer, actress singer, lecturer, author and full member of The Arts and Culture Network.
I had the great pleasure of interviewing Erika recently.
You can meet her and hear about her arts and culture hot top ten and our This or That game in the video below.
Erika is a bilingual (Swedish & English) actress, singer, and author based in Stockholm, Sweden.
She was born in Stockholm in the 1970s, growing up in a dysfunctional family, an experience that has profoundly influenced her life. Despite the challenges she faced, there have been some positive aspects, like her ability to speak English fluently.
To pursue her passion for the stage, Erika trained at Mountview Theatre School in London, which she called home for over 11 years. Throughout her life, she has lived in various cities, including New York City, Paris, and Estoril, just outside Lisbon in Portugal.
Currently, Erika works as a freelance actress, singer, lecturer, and author.
In 2021, she made her debut as an author with the autobiography "Butterfly" (Swe: "Kameleontflickan"), available on Apple Books.
One of her proudest achievements is being a mother to two healthy and vibrant girls, a role she embraced later in life, with her first child born when she turned 40.
Erika treasures the gift of motherhood more than anything.
