Meet Sadia Carone, a life of comedy, singing and camera
Sadia Carone is a multihyphenate creative with a truly international footprint—part performer, part linguist, part educator, and all-in problem-solver. Her career defies easy labels, bridging stand-up comedy and screen acting with public speaking, songwriting, and language teaching. Whether on stage, on screen, or behind a microphone, Sadia brings an agile mind, dry wit, and a global perspective to everything she touches. Equally at home in Paris cafés, Brazilian classrooms, or Las Vegas comedy clubs, she embodies the ethos: "If it needs doing, I’ll learn how."
In the interview, Sadia spoke about her artistic passions and cultural experience. Listen in the video above or on Spotify below.
Born in the American Midwest, Sadia Carone’s early passion for language and expression set her on an unconventional path. She earned dual BAs in English and French from the University of Pennsylvania, later deepening her love of performance through two immersive years studying theatre entirely in French at Université de Paris III. Her interest in international engagement took her to Rio de Janeiro, where she not only taught executives at Petrobras but also earned recognition at the Escola Superior de Guerra for her group work on sustainable development in the Amazon.
Her early career straddled corporate and creative spheres, including time as an IT manager before transitioning full-time into the arts and education. Sadia is a certified video editor and a TEFL-qualified teacher who’s taught diplomats and business professionals across continents, from France to Brazil.

Stateside, she carved out a name for herself on both coasts and beyond—appearing in series such as Glee, The Mentalist, Parks and Recreation, The Middle, and Netflix’s Obliterated. She also featured in the feature film The Retaliators and voiced campaigns for Brazilian institutions like CCAA Language School.
As a stand-up comedienne, Sadia’s performed everywhere from the Comedy Store in LA to Wiseguys in Salt Lake City, balancing both clean and adult sets with the occasional hosting gig. In Las Vegas, she’s kept crowds entertained as a karaoke host, wedding officiant, and even a big bus tour guide—roles that speak to her nimbleness and quick rapport with an audience.
Her recent TEDx Talk, now being translated into three African languages, underscores her belief in global dialogue. A fluent speaker of French and Portuguese, with additional proficiency in Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, and more, Sadia is driven by a desire to connect across cultures—especially to address planetary challenges.
Now based in Las Vegas, she continues to develop new projects across comedy, music, screenwriting, and production, while championing environmental awareness and inclusive storytelling.
