Writer on World Cultures and Creativity | Resume/CV Strategist and Career Advisor.

I have spent much of my life exploring how different cultures understand reality, creativity, beauty and human potential.

Watch my interview with Arts and Culture Network founder Mark Walmsley and discover my fantasy cultural year here.

My work combines three lifelong interests: cultural exploration, writing, and helping people communicate their value.

Over the past three decades I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, studying how different societies develop their unique ways of seeing the world.

These experiences inspired my books Thinking in a New Light and Teaching the Mind to Dance, which explore how engaging with multiple cultural perspectives can expand creativity, increase happiness and enrich our understanding of ourselves and others.

Alongside my writing, I run a résumé-writing and career strategy business, helping professionals articulate their achievements and navigate career transitions. I have worked with thousands of clients across a wide range of industries and backgrounds.

More recently, I have become increasingly interested in the relationship between the humanities and artificial intelligence. While AI offers tremendous opportunities, I believe that humanity's vast cultural heritage, artistic traditions, historical knowledge and philosophical insights must play a central role in shaping its future development.

Through the Arts and Culture Network, I hope to connect with writers, artists, technologists, educators, researchers and cultural leaders who are interested in creativity, culture, human development and the future of society.
