Evan Snow
Co-Founder and Creative Placemaking Advocate
I am passionate about arts, culture, and community development in South Florida. As the co-founder of Zero Empty Spaces, I work to create affordable artist studios in vacant properties, fostering a vibrant creative ecosystem that benefits both artists and the local community.
I am Evan Snow, a proud native of Broward County, Florida, where my love for arts and culture drives my work every day. As the co-founder of Zero Empty Spaces, I am dedicated to transforming vacant commercial real estate into affordable studio spaces for artists. I believe that everyone deserves a place to create, and through our initiative, we have been able to support over 600 artists and help them flourish within our community.
In addition to my work with Zero Empty Spaces, I founded Choose954, a social movement aimed at revitalising our local culture and economy. I am deeply committed to showcasing the unique talents and experiences that our area has to offer, whether through curated events or grassroots initiatives.
I am also an advocate for environmental awareness, which led me to co-found the Ocean Rescue Alliance and the 1000 Mermaids Artificial Reef Project. My passion for both the arts and the natural world drives me to use creativity as a means to raise awareness and restore our precious coral reefs.
Moreover, I recently authored "Learning To Choose," where I share pivotal moments from my journey, aiming to inspire others to uncover their potential and make a positive impact in their communities. Through these varied initiatives, I strive to connect people, foster collaboration, and nurture the vibrant spirit of South Florida.
