John Heavern

I consider myself a bit of a “mystical lyricist”, writing songs and poetry that cross genres, moods, and cultures. Over the years, I've collaborated with musicians and composers worldwide, including Dutch composer Martin Gelderman, crafting over 500 songs, nearly 200 of which have been published. My work can be found on platforms like Kompoz.com and YouTube, where I share lyric videos that pair my words with music from talented artists.

While music is my creative outlet, I also have extensive experience in the industrial sector. I’ve worked with steel fabrication, material handling, and warehouse logistics, always keeping things organised and running smoothly. From forklifts to cranes, I’ve handled machinery and logistics with an eye for detail and precision. It’s a balance between the practical and the poetic, and it keeps me grounded while fueling my creative work.
