About the event
Join us on ZOOM at 1pm BST on 1st September for a free, fun, fast-paced and fiendishly effective hour of random speed networking for arts and culture professionals with a 10-minute speed webinar called the TAD Talk (The Arts Debate).
At our event for arts and culture professionals we've squeezed all of the best elements of a full-day event into one hour.
- A 10-minute speed webinar
- A 5-minute member showcase
- Random speed networking sessions
- The after party for open networking
"I'm beginning to realise that the benefits from being in this group are extraordinary." (Alice Shapiro - Mary LaForge Gallery)
"Thank you Mark Walmsley FRSA for creating such a wonderful global community who have a passion for the arts and culture!" (Furrah Syed, Abstract Artist)
"Hey Mark had to shoot off for another meeting. Great to meet you and others in the network! I found it very useful :)" (Sacha Mandell)
We all get to meet 9 or more colleagues at random, in a series of 5-minute one-to-ones in under an hour, without leaving our desks. At half time, we present our speed webinar.
Yes, we'd all be happier face-to-face but I can't think of any other way of getting several arts and culture vultures together from all over the world, for an hour.
It's more affordable, much more convenient and much, much more sustainable.
The ZOOM link will be shared by email before the event.
The TAD Talk
Our 10-minute speed webinar is by ACN founder member and digital marketing expert Michael Pilla.
CLIX for TIX
"As we learn to live with Covid, one of the challenges facing arts organisations is getting the audience out of their houses and into yours. Here are 5 digital marketing tips that will help you reconnect with your followers, attract new ones, and send them on their way to being ticket buyers."
Member Showcase
Our member showcase is by ACN founder member Furrah Syed who is an abstract artist, educator and colour energy specialist. Furrah will share her recent abstract creations and also talk about her projects which explore how to make art more accessible to all especially those who are visually impaired. Furrah's focus in her art practice is on the power of colour and energy in all it's incredible forms.
ACN subscription comes with benefits that far outweigh the cost of membership and you can learn more here.
Our after party is where much of the magic happens so we'll be open networking for 30 minutes or so at 2pm for those who don't have to dart off.
