I'm a Devon, UK-based abstract artist that loves the light! My work has been described as 'a dynamic alchemy of flow and the spiritual essence of nature'. Celebrated for my evocative, layered compositions, I aim to channel the mystery and energy of the ocean and the beauty of the natural world.
Inspired by the natural world, my fine art abstract paintings sparkle subtly, reflecting and adapting to light and surroundings as if alive with the rhythmic flow of nature. Rooted in emotive colour psychology, my pieces aim to resonate on a personal level, encouraging viewers to slow down, acknowledge their emotions, and find peace and joy in the present moment.

My process is deeply intuitive, exploring the interplay of light, colour, and movement. Using impasto techniques to create textured depth, I apply bold layers of acrylic often with a variety of tools such as spatulas and rollers, blending elemental textures with luminous vibrancy. I also paint with coffee and use gold leaf. Glowing with subtle iridescent highlights, my work aims to be a timeless celebration of nature, and the calming flow of life.
My Waves Collection, exhibited at Devon Open Studios and TAAG Teignmouth in 2024, explored the duality of the ocean—its turbulence and tranquility. In works like 'Waves II', I dive into the spiritual depths of wild seas, inviting viewers to discover moments of stillness beneath chaos. My art has been featured in Devon Life and Coast Magazines, reflecting my love for the West Country and a commitment to ocean conservation; a portion of my profits supports local marine charities.
