Founder & CEO - SUPERLUXE PARTNERS

Fine art and digital pioneer.

Hi. I’m James Matthewson, and work at the convergence of fine art and Web3 digital innovation.

In my recent interview with Mark Walmsley, I had the chance to explore my "fantasy cultural year", an imagined journey that brought out some unexpected twists, personal stories, and great conversation.

As the Founder and CEO of SUPERLUXE & Partners, I’m leading a transformation in the digital art world with SUPERLUXE.io, a Web3 platform where art and blockchain innovation meet. SUPERLUXE is all about providing $ARTX token holders with exclusive “phygital” benefits, from early access to premier artworks and VIP streaming of PETS ROCK: The Movie to an immersive experience in our Metaverse lounge.

SUPERLUXE Holdings, based in Jersey in the Channel Islands, is known for high-end events, consulting, and educational programs focused on luxury and digital innovation. We’re dedicated to upholding values of discretion, privacy, and trust as we serve ultra-high-net-worth clients, celebrities, and global luxury brands. Our work spans luxury brand events, consulting, educational initiatives, and digital art.

I’m also a passionate thought leader, author, and the youngest-ever Fellow of the Institute of Direct & Digital Marketing. My career has included teaching as a professor at the International University of Monaco and working with industry giants like American Express, Canon, and the Richemont Group—highlighting my commitment to bridging digital innovation with luxury.

With SUPERLUXE & Partners, I’m building a pioneering art ecosystem on the Solana blockchain. Through NFT minting technology, crypto payments, and our governance-focused SUPERDAO, we’re giving $ARTX token holders access to a $32 million art collection and unique digital and physical experiences.

I’m excited to continue pushing the boundaries between art and technology, creating a visionary path that unites traditional fine art with the evolving world of Web3.
