Sound Therapist

I am an experienced freelance sound therapist and historical musician with a background in the museum sector.

I am a freelance sound therapist providing a wide range of therapeutic sound sessions in the Surrey/Sussex area as well as selected venues in London. My focus is on multi-sensory listening and I use these processes in my sessions and also my workshops. I have a hearing impairment and I have developed these skills to listen in a different and more holistic way. I have a museum masters degree and 15 years previous experience working in museums in education, access and interpretation. Many of my sound sessions take place in surroundings inspired by nature and/or history and I am very interested to work with other organisations to bring therapeutic sound and well-being initiatives into the arts and cultural sector. My venues include Kew Gardens and Wisely Gardens. I am also a trustee for the Evelyn Glennie Foundation which promotes active listening as a positive life skill for all.
