I’m Louise Duggan, a multidisciplinary artist and art-consultant based in West Sussex (with roots in Dubai). I run Ophelia Art Consultancy Ltd, I create mixed-media artworks and I mentor creatives who want to build their art businesses.
Hi, I’m Louise Duggan. My art journey began in Portsmouth and travelled across Africa, the UK and the Middle East, eventually leading me to found Ophelia Art Consultancy Ltd, with offices in the UK and Dubai. I started out studying Art & Design at the University of Leicester, worked in interior design in London and spent over two decades in Dubai creating and curating art for luxury hotels, residences and commercial spaces—including the Burj Al Arab.
Now based back in the UK, I divide my time between creating vibrant, bold mixed-media artworks (including resin, neon, 3-D pieces and more) and helping others do the same. Through Ophelia Art Consultancy and my mentorship and coaching programmes I guide artists and designers to build sustainable careers, set up effective pricing, develop their market and deepen their creative confidence. I know firsthand how art and business intersect—so I bring both studio-practice and pragmatic strategy to the table.
