Shuyun Zi

Arts & Culture Project Coordinator and Communications Specialist

I work across arts, culture, and research, supporting creative projects through coordination, communications, and storytelling in international contexts.

Hi! I’m Shuyun (Grace) Zi, and I love bringing ideas to life in the arts and culture world. My background spans multiple countries and disciplines — from curating exhibitions in France, producing films in China, to coordinating educational programmes in Brazil. I thrive on helping creative projects find structure, clarity, and reach, whether that’s through research, storytelling, or meticulous organisation.

I’m multilingual (Mandarin, English, Portuguese), which makes navigating international projects and cross-cultural teams both natural and enjoyable. I’m particularly drawn to projects that blend heritage, media, and community, and I love seeing the connections that form when people engage with culture in a meaningful way. When we first meet, you’ll quickly notice I combine professionalism with a dash of humour, an eye for detail, and a curiosity about how culture shapes human experience.

For me, every project is about connection — connecting people, ideas, histories, and visions for the future. I’m motivated by the moments when a project not only succeeds but also inspires, educates, and delights.
