Simon Hayter

Digital, Data & AI Transformation Adviser

I help organisations develop practical digital strategies, use data effectively and explore where technology can create genuine value.

I work at the intersection of strategy, technology and human behaviour, drawing on more than 25 years of experience across data, digital products and large-scale transformation. My career has included senior leadership in complex organisations, including my time as Chief Digital Officer at Knight Frank, where I worked across digital strategy, products, data and transformation.

See my main profile here.

Since becoming independent in 2026, I have been particularly interested in working with creative people and organisations. I see a real opportunity for the arts and cultural sector to make better use of data, digital platforms and artificial intelligence without losing the human thinking that makes creative work interesting in the first place.

I enjoy working through complicated problems, asking slightly awkward questions and turning technical ideas into things people can actually understand and use. I am also an adviser to The Athlete Place, bringing my experience in digital and data to a platform supporting athletes, families and sporting organisations.
