I’m an arts leader, producer, and cultural strategist with more than 40 years’ experience running and developing performing arts organisations across the UK, USA, Australia, and India.
I’ve spent more than 40 years working in the performing arts as a leader, producer, and cultural strategist, and I’ve been fortunate enough to help shape major institutions across the UK, USA, Australia, and India. My career has always been driven by a love of collaboration, a deep respect for artists, and a commitment to creating cultural experiences that genuinely resonate with audiences.
Most recently, I completed a five-year tenure with Reliance Industries Limited in Mumbai, where I served as Head of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. In that role, I oversaw the Centre’s artistic programming, performance activity, staffing, finances, and wider organisational development. It was an extraordinary opportunity to help establish a major new cultural landmark and to work with a remarkable range of international artists, companies, and creative partners.
Before that, I held senior leadership roles in theatres and multi-arts venues around the world. I’ve launched new cultural centres, revitalised existing ones, and developed artistic programmes spanning theatre, dance, music, opera, and interdisciplinary work. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with hundreds of artists and companies, curated seasons that bring together diverse voices and forms, and overseen complex projects from concept to realisation. Those experiences have given me a broad, global perspective on what makes cultural organisations thrive.
Today, I work as an arts and theatre consultant, supporting organisations through periods of transition, growth, or creative re-orientation. My work includes interim management, artistic planning, leadership and team development, business planning, and project delivery. Whether helping a board navigate change, shaping a season of work, or coaching a leadership team, I bring clarity, perspective, and a positive, collaborative approach.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple mission: to create and enable cultural experiences that connect, inspire, and uplift audiences. I believe deeply in the power of the arts to build community, open minds, and enrich lives — and I’m committed to supporting organisations that share that purpose.
