Senior Director, Performing Arts
I am the Senior Director of Performing Arts at Elgin Community College in Elgin, IL - a position I have held since February 2022, having served as the Managing Director of the Fine and Performing Arts Center at Moraine Valley Community College from January 2008 - February 2022. I use he/him pronouns.
I serve as President of the Board of Heartland Performing Arts, a non-profit organization and producer of the new Midwest Arts XPO. I recently completed six years on the board of NAPAMA (North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents), an organization dedicated to promoting the best interests of performing arts agents and managers through leadership, professional development, and alliances in the performing arts industry. I served for 11 years as Chair of the Illinois Presenters Network, the consortium of arts presenters in the state of Illinois.
As a 16-year resident of the Chicago area, I have developed a side “gig” as a restaurant reviewer for a local website. I have recently completed my WSET Level 3 certification in Wines and am currently studying for the Diploma level.
