I am the Managing Director of Culture Creative, a project and creative production management company based in Alnwick, Northumberland. With over 20 years of experience in the field, I’ve built Culture Creative into a globally recognized company, working across the UK, Europe, Australia, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and beyond. We specialize in site-specific projects in heritage and landscape settings, developing a diverse portfolio that includes lighting, dance, and performance-led events, as well as consultancy services.

My professional journey began with 15 years working in the public sector, in culture and regeneration departments across Cambridgeshire, Dorset, Northumberland, and Tyne & Wear. I’ve held leadership roles responsible for leisure, regeneration, and cultural departments, and contributed to various sports and tourism initiatives.

Since founding Culture Creative in 2004, I’ve overseen numerous high-profile projects in collaboration with heritage organizations and public sector bodies. My expertise lies in delivering contemporary art projects in heritage and landscape environments, often in challenging locations. From project conception and planning to execution, marketing, and financial management, I manage every phase of the project lifecycle with a strategic approach.

Through my leadership, Culture Creative has worked in a range of settings, from Brisbane to Los Angeles, particularly in botanical gardens and heritage landscapes. I’m known for my ability to tackle complex, technical projects, constantly pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in creative production within the cultural sector.
