About the event

This event has past, watch recordings here.

At 1pm (GMT) on Thursday 5th May I'm hosting another hour of random speed networking including a TAD Talk speed webinar by best-selling author Sam Conniff. It's free to attend.

This event is presented in collaboration with the RSA (Royal Society of Arts). We may need a bigger boat!

We all get to meet 9 or more fellow members and guests, at random, in a series of 5-minute 1-2-1s and small groups, in under an hour, without leaving our desks, or dressing from the waist down if we don't want to.

It's free, fun, fast and effective and we've had some great feedback. We've had several reports of follow on meetings, artistic collaboration, business deals and hires.

“Hi Mark. Hope you're well. I just wanted to get in touch to say how much I enjoyed the last ACN Speed Networking event.” Katy Raines MA MBA FRSA

The TAD Talk

Creative Uncertainty

At half time, we present a 10-minute speed webinar called the TAD Talk (The Arts Debate).

Sam Conniff is the best-selling author of the phenomenon that is Be More Pirate, a book that has changed thinking all over the world, not least here at The Arts and Culture Network.

Sam's current focus is the Uncertainty Experts, a powerful interactive documentary initiative scientifically proven to reduce our fear of the unknown, reduce anxiety, increase empathy and improve decision-making and problem-solving.

In 10 minutes, Sam will introduce us to the project and how to deal with creative uncertainty.
