About the event

I know ... I'm ZOOMed out too, but I can think of no other way to get so many arts and culture professionals together for an hour, from all over the world, in such a fun, fast-paced and friendly environment, and it's free.

"Words cannot express how much the ACN gatherings have come to mean to me. The energy of fellowship is inspiring, and lifts my spirits from feeling isolated in my approach to thinking and engagement." (Norwood Creech - Artist)

We've seen attendees hired on the spot at our events. Recruitment companies hate us.

So, join us on ZOOM for a fiendishly effective hour of random speed networking with a 10-minute speed webinar called the TAD Talk (The Arts Debate) and a 5-minute member showcase.

We all get to meet 10 or more colleagues at random, in a series of 5-minute one-to-ones and small groups, in under an hour, without leaving our desks or dressing from the waist down if we don't want to.

The after party is legendary for those who don't have to dart off at 2pm.

The ZOOM link will be shared when you register and again by email before the event. You don't need to register at ZOOM or remember a passcode.

The TAD Talk

Our 10-minute TAD Talk (The Arts Debate) is by Anette Ollereanshaw FRSA CIWFW.

Anette is an industry voice, provocateur and author and has been Trustee Director at the Association of British Theatre Technicians (ABTT) since 2014.

Sought out as a consultant for her vast Wigs, Hair and Make-up knowledge and experience, Anette was Head of WHAM for the Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies in Birmingham in 2022.

In her TAD Talk Anette will talk to us about how she created a diverse and inclusive team for the Games and introduce us to the working methodology she has developed from her years of experience.

The Member Showcase

Dr Robin Harrison is the founder and principal at The Maestro Online and one of our subscribing founder members. Robin is a pioneer in online music education and has created a library of music tuition courses including courses by celebrity musicians. He'll be bringing a special offer for subscribers.

ACN subscription comes with benefits that far outweigh the cost of membership and you can learn more here.
