As a creative director and communications expert, Melanie has made her mark as a multi-award-winning filmmaker and broadcaster. Her passion for storytelling that sells, has earned her accolades, showcasing her innate ability to craft compelling narratives through media.
Melanie's entrepreneurial spirit has led her to establish various successful businesses. Magical Aloe Forever, operating under the global brand Forever Living, focuses on holistic health and well-being. Competitive Edge specialises in providing top-notch nutritional supplementation for healthy joints and muscle tone, catering to high-performance athletes and individuals with mobility issues.
The journey to entrepreneurship was catalysed during Melanie's pregnancy when she decided to take voluntary redundancy and step away from the corporate world. Her passion for ice skating paved the way for the creation of 'Heroes on Ice,' a project aimed at raising awareness and funds for charitable causes through ice skating shows.
A pivotal moment occurred in 2018 when she founded Poppy Perry Media after attending a 'Mastermind' session. This venture drew upon her skills in creating video content, positioning her as a communication coach and producer.
Melanie's commitment to empowering small business owners, find their voices and share their stories through high quality, short videos, has since impacted hundreds. She bridges the gap between creative expression and effective communication. Her mission revolves around assisting in creating a strong online presence without breaking the bank, aligning with the contemporary need for visually engaging content on platforms like YouTube and Facebook.
Beyond her individual pursuits, Melanie co-founded CR38IVES, a global directory and networking group for professionals in the creative industries. This initiative, grounded in the energetic essence of teamwork and creative expression, seeks to connect, support, and inspire creative individuals worldwide.
Not content with just one avenue of success, she has also ventured into the competitive world of sports broadcasting as the Station Director and Channel Owner of "The Bucks & Berks Sports Show." Melanie is the successful wearer of many hats, helping to shape the arts and culture sector.
