Aaron Shrimpton
Creative Producer and Filmmaker
I’m Aaron Shrimpton, a BAFTA-winning filmmaker, director and creative producer. I founded New Waverley Studios to make visually compelling films that connect with people — from branded content to documentaries and narrative pieces.
I’ve spent more than 15 years shaping film and video work that feels vivid, thoughtful and unmistakably human. At New Waverley Studios, I combine creative direction, cinematography and editing to craft stories that engage, inspire and move audiences.
I have a 1st Class Honours degree in Fine Art Photography, which gave me a foundation in visual thinking that still informs everything I do. My portfolio includes work for arts, media and cultural organisations like The Guardian and Fatboy Slim, as well as cinema-screened short films and projects that centre community voices and creative expression.
I’m driven by collaboration — working with teams who challenge and elevate ideas, and clients who want something a bit bold and a bit brave. Whether it’s documentary, branded storytelling or narrative content, I approach each film with care, curiosity and a bit of humour.
Film can do more than communicate: it can connect, provoke and uplift. That’s what I aim for in every project — and I’m always excited for the next story to tell.
