Professionally, I work with organisations and individuals on sales, marketing, communications, presentations, and business operations. Over the years I have had the opportunity to consult across a wide variety of industries, helping clients turn ideas into practical results. My entrepreneurial work has been recognised nationally, including being named among the Top 100 Innovators & Entrepreneurs by Top 100 Magazine in both 2022 and 2023.
Alongside my consulting practice, I am deeply committed to creative work. Through my Carousel Carrusel Gallery & Gifts brand, I create visual art, designer products, books, and creative projects that encourage curiosity, imagination, and connection. Writing has been part of my life since childhood; my first recorded poem dates back to the 1980s, and today I continue to write, publish, and collaborate on a growing collection of books and artistic ventures.
My personal story has shaped much of who I am. Having been raised in a restrictive religious environment, I discovered freedom through creativity. Poetry, music, art, dance, and storytelling became pathways to self-expression, exploration, and growth. Those experiences continue to inspire my work and my belief that creativity has the power to transform lives.
I am fascinated by the natural world, particularly pollinators and the critical role they play in sustaining life. I am also passionate about genealogy and family history, constantly exploring the connections between people, places, and generations. Travel, learning, and cultural discovery remain central to my life, and I am happiest when uncovering new ideas, meeting interesting people, or embarking on unexpected adventures.
If I have a superpower, it is probably my ability to find cool people, cool projects, and cool opportunities to make a positive difference. Whether through business, art, writing, or collaboration, I am motivated by a simple goal: to leave people, places, and projects a little better than I found them.
I believe that creativity belongs to everyone.
