I’m Ashish Manchanda and I build platforms that amplify voices and connect the world through music.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my journey, it’s that music doesn’t respect borders—so why should I? I began as a tinkerer, fascinated by sound waves, and over the years that fascination expanded into producing, live engineering, entrepreneurship and mentoring.
I’ve had the privilege of contributing to over 150 film projects—Dev D, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, The Chronicles of Narnia, to name a few—and collaborating with names like A.R. Rahman, Alif and other visionary artists. Under the mentorship of Bruce Swedien, I earned a mention in In the Studio with Michael Jackson. That moment affirmed that I was walking a path with both respect for craft and desire for impact.
But I didn’t stop at studios. I co-founded Win Iconic Ventures, Boon Castle Media & Entertainment, Flying Carpet Productions, and The Media Tribe (a training institute for sound professionals). I’ve mixed live concerts, run FOH engineering in iconic halls, produced festivals, and designed media projects spanning India and the US.
Today, my heart and energy are focused largely on The Global Ikon, which I founded to create a truly global platform for music discovery. It’s not just a reality show—it’s a vision to connect artists, tech, audiences and industry in a more equitable way.
