A cellist, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for music. I founded MyBlueSkiesMusic and serve as President of the Violoncello Society of New York, combining my love for music with innovation and leadership.
Hi, I’m Kate Dillingham, a professional musician and tech entrepreneur who thrives on exploring the intersection of music and innovation. As a cellist, I’ve had the privilege of performing in some of the world’s most renowned venues, from Carnegie Hall to Moscow's Great Hall. I’m passionate about both preserving the rich legacy of the cello and driving forward new, creative frontiers.
I founded MyBlueSkiesMusic, a platform built specifically for musicians to connect, teach, and perform online with high-quality audio and video. Leading this project during the pandemic was both a challenge and a joy, and I’m proud to have created a space that supports musicians around the world. In addition to my tech pursuits, I serve as President of the Violoncello Society of New York, where I work to honour and preserve the craft and history of the cello while fostering a vibrant, evolving community. I’m also the Artistic Director of ArtsAhimsa: Music for Peace, where I get to blend my love for music with my desire to promote harmony and understanding.
Through these roles, I’m committed to shaping the future of music—whether it’s through performance, teaching, or innovative technology.
