Ola David
CEO of Sutainable Artist
Hello, I’m Dolapo Suzan Olamide David, though everyone just calls me Ola David. I’m the founder of Sustainable Artist C.I.C. and CEO of Sustainable Green Globe Ltd — two projects that keep me happily busy helping artists thrive without losing sight of the planet.
I started Sustainable Artist because I saw too many talented creatives struggling — not for lack of skill, but because no one had shown them how to navigate the industry. We fix that. Through workshops, mentorship, exhibitions, consultancy, referrals, and sales support, we give artists the practical tools to build sustainable careers.
Our workshops cover the things art school often skips: how to build a professional website, market your work, license your art, get exhibitions, and develop eco-friendly practices. We also partner with organisations like the Scott Creative Art Foundation to create real exhibition opportunities and networks.
What drives me is inclusion. I believe the arts should be open, not gate-kept, and I’m committed to supporting underrepresented voices. At the same time, I keep things fun — because if you can’t laugh while learning about licensing contracts, what’s the point?
For me, sustainability isn’t just about recycling. It’s about making sure creativity has a future — and that artists can make a living from their work without compromising their values.
So if you’re an artist who’s tired of closed doors and dead ends, come and see what we’re building with Sustainable Artist. We’re opening doors, building skills, and proving that creativity and sustainability really do make the best of friends.
