The Arts and Culture Network

In 2010, I started a group on LinkedIn called the Arts and Culture Network and promptly forgot all about it. How I wish I‘d done the same with Bitcoin!
By 2020, we were over 10,000 strong so I hosted a one-hour random speed networking event so that we could all get to know each other better. It was a great success.
We all got to meet several colleagues at random in a series of short meeting in small groups. We made new connections, started conversations, and discovered opportunities for collaboration. People were hired at our event.
So … in November 2021 I started a series of similar monthly events, and added The TAD Talk (The Arts Debate), a 10-minute speed webinar at half time.
We then launched a membership plan at just £10 per month to provide subscribers with enhanced and supported opportunities to develop their own networks, careers and businesses, and additional benefits with a total value over £1,000.
10% of membership fees is set aside for the Arts and Culture Network Fund. Members get to nominate deserving individuals, initiatives and organisations and we all vote on who should receive our collective financial support. We call it fractional philanthropy.
The Arts and Culture Network is now a growing global community of tens of thousands of practitioners, professionals and industry service providers shaping the future of our industry together.
We are independent, self-governing, inclusive, diverse, sustainable and more than a bit pirate. 🏴☠️
