Meet Frances Naty Go

Frances Naty Go, better known as Goldlilys, is a web development virtuoso who transforms everyday websites into digital masterpieces. Born in the Philippines and raised in San Diego, Frances learned early on how to stand out – navigating a new culture and language with the dexterity of a Silicon Valley startup pivot.

A true polymath, she earned a BSc in Computer Science & Engineering from UC San Diego and spent over 15 years mastering the full stack — from LAMP servers to modern CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal. As Founder & CEO of Goldlilys Media LLC, Frances specialises in crafting online experiences that empower museums, nonprofits, wellness brands, higher education, life sciences, the arts and travel organisations.

Frances’s secret sauce? A fusion of creativity and logic – inspired by Monet’s Water Lilies – to create websites that don’t just inform, but engage and inspire action. She believes functionality is nothing without personality, accessibility without soul, and that a website’s first job is to connect.

Under her leadership, Goldlilys Media has built and optimised high-performing, SEO-friendly, mobile-first websites, with rigorous testing, analytics tracking and client training throughout. She’s the kind of developer who drives broken-click frustration into laughter, replacing tech headaches with “aha!” moments.

Frances’ portfolio includes work for Integrated Genetics, the Women’s Museum of California and Balboa Park institutions like the San Diego Youth Symphony and Automotive Museum. Yet she’s equally at home problem-solving for solopreneurs, CEOs or Executive Directors – unraveling web woes with humour, empathy and impeccable code.

Energetic, witty and whip-smart, Frances Naty Go is the perfect person to turn your digital vision into a living, breathing online community.

Frances' Fantasy Cultural Year

In their engaging conversation, Mark Walmsley introduced Frances Naty Go, celebrating her work in building websites for not-for-profits.

Together, they embarked on a fictional creative journey through an imagined "Fantasy Cultural Year," exploring digital marketing in the arts.

Watch it here:

Frances spilled the tea (or perhaps coffee) on her favourite book, The Good Earth — a literary revelation that taught her to go it alone and blaze her own trail. Mark, always ready with a curveball, offered up a juicy challenge:

What if Frances was hired by a mysterious wealthy Parisian family to rank the world’s best museum websites?

Frances was in. But she wanted to start local — Balboa Park, San Diego local — then take it global. Smart.

🎧 “You can only listen to one music genre for a whole year.”

Frances, unfazed, picked Korean OSTs.

Naturally, she travelled to a dance mashup of hip hop + ballet, followed by a dinner of Japanese-Mexican fusion. Culture served hot.

✈️ World Tour: One Magic Wand, Two Culture Nerds

Stop 1: Tokyo Frances: "Let’s watch Olympic gymnastics!"Mark: "Let’s."

Stop 2: Vatican City Sistine Chapel ceiling? Too many tourists.Magic wand? Boom. Private viewing + reclining bed = ceiling appreciation, Michelangelo-style.

Stop 3: Rome Digital art + VR? Frances is there.Mark suggests Monet + Van Gogh, digitally remastered.

Stop 4: London

  • 🎶 Whitney Houston + Lady Gaga concert

  • 🎭 Othello at Shakespeare’s Globe

  • Wicked the musical

  • 🎼 Opera

  • 🐠 Finding Nemo on a jumbo Vegas screen

Culture? Absolutely. Chaos? A little. Delight? 100%.
