Alan Harrison
Author/Consultant/Speaker
Alan Harrison is the author of "Scene Change: Why Today's Nonprofit Arts Organizations Have to Stop Producing Art and Start Producing Impact." Additionally, he is a weekly blogger for ArtsJournal.com and works as a consultant for the nonprofit arts industry, in which he toiled mercilessly for 30 years.
Alan Harrison is a writer, father, performer, nonprofit consultant, panelist, speaker, radio host, board member, auctioneer, and a published author (click on those words for info on the book). He’s also a two-time Jeopardy! champion so, you know, there’s that. He's been called “a visionary who believes that theatre changes lives for the better.” Then again, he's also been called a "bomb-throwing provocateur" by several independent, yet nameless readers who don't have the courage to put their names on their comments. The truth? Probably somewhere in between, if by "in between" it's the former. Visit 501c3.guru.
