Ticketing and music event pioneer.

Founder of Worlds Collie - Strategic Communications / Partnerships: Tickets for Good / Tramlines Festival / The Fringe at Tramlines

Hello, I'm Alex Deadman, proud Sheffielder with a deep connection to the music industry.

My journey in music began with a fervent love for jungle music in the early '90s. Since then, I've worn multiple hats as a DJ, MC, and promoter. I took my first steps into the professional world at just 16, managing the box office at the acid-techno-trance event, Headcharge.

Over the years, I've had the privilege to collaborate with organisations such as Drum & Bass Arena, Tramlines Festival, Under the Stars (a disability arts charity), Sheffield City Council, and Tickets for Good.

My expertise spans consultancy, PR, strategic communications, and marketing, showcasing a versatile approach to the ever-evolving music industry.

Currently, I serve as the Director of Strategic Communications at Tickets for Good, an innovative online platform. Here, we're on a mission to connect live event partners with a community of recipients, including NHS workers and charities, fostering a culture of generosity within our industry.

In the heart of Sheffield's vibrant music scene, I take on the role of Head of PR, Marketing, and Event Planning at the renowned Tramlines Festival. This annual music extravaganza in Hillsborough Park isn't just an event; it's a celebration deeply rooted in our city's heritage.

With a commitment to honesty, inclusivity, and pride,

Tramlines transcends boundaries by championing arts, culture, food, comedy, and performance. I'm proud to say my leadership has helped elevate Tramlines into one of the North's premier weekenders, as recognized by CLASH MAGAZINE.

With me at the helm, Tramlines Festival continues to evolve, setting new standards and enriching the cultural fabric of Sheffield and beyond.
