Founder, ROSC ART | Contemporary Artist | Culinary Art Interpreter

I create abstract fine art inspired by the creations of Michelin-starred chefs, transforming extraordinary culinary experiences into permanent works of art. Through ROSC ART, I explore the relationship between gastronomy and visual art, celebrating one of the world's most ephemeral creative disciplines.

I am the founder of ROSC ART, an artistic practice dedicated to celebrating one of the world's most overlooked art forms: exceptional cuisine.

For me, the world's finest chefs are artists. They compose with colour, texture, balance, form and emotion, creating experiences that are every bit as creative and expressive as painting, sculpture or music. The only difference is that their masterpieces exist for just a few fleeting moments before becoming memories.

That simple observation inspired ROSC ART.

Working with some of the World's finest chefs, I photograph their extraordinary culinary creations before transforming them into abstract artworks that capture not simply the appearance of a dish, but the atmosphere, movement, emotion and sensory experience it evokes.

Rather than reproducing the food itself, my work creates a new visual interpretation of the creativity behind it, giving permanence to one of the world's most ephemeral art forms.

Before beginning this artistic journey, I spent more than forty years building an international career in finance, entrepreneurship and investment management. Creativity, however, has always been central to who I am, and ROSC ART has given me the opportunity to combine my lifelong passion for art with my appreciation for innovation, craftsmanship and excellence.

The name ROSC comes from Old Irish and is closely associated with Ireland's celebrated ROSC exhibitions, where it came to represent "The Poetry of Vision." That philosophy perfectly reflects my own work: encouraging people to see artistry where they may never have thought to look.

Through the Arts and Culture Network, I'm looking forward to connecting with chefs, collectors, galleries, restaurants, hotels, cultural organisations, interior designers and fellow creatives who believe that exceptional ideas often emerge where different artistic disciplines meet.
