Olga Goldina Hirsch

Mixed media fine artist

I’m Olga Goldina Hirsch – an Anglo‑Russian artist based in London, though my roots trace back to Moscow. I studied Fine Art at the City & Guilds of London Art School.

In my work, I’m drawn to the “obliterated memories” of my Soviet‑era family – visually translating gaps and voids into glowing cosmic spaces. I layer canvas with spray, screenprint, metallics and fluorescents to mimic flashbacks and buried recollections Contemporary Art Curator Magazineartistcloseup.com. It’s part excavation, part celebration – a way of saying, “Yes, it happened. But look how it shines now.”

My art has enjoyed some unexpected venues: from runner‑up at the TEBBS International Art Prize and membership at the Taylor Foundation, to takeovers at Pimlico tube station and Times Square in New York artistcloseup.comconingsbygallery.com. My work lives in the Copelouzos Museum in Athens, Vladivostok’s Museum, SaatchiArt and many private collections.

I love mixing depth with play, with humour and humanity in every brushstroke. If you’ve ever lost something, it might just light up on my canvas.
