Meet Michelle Ann.

In this interview, Mark invited Michelle Ann to create her own fantasy cultural year from the answers to some easy questions where there are no wrong answers. Enjoy her journey below.

Michelle Ann Tsbcic is the creative heartbeat behind The Space Between Global CIC, a visionary hub where music, wellness, and holistic support intersect.

With a career that reads like a mashup of a TED Talk and a festival programme, Michelle has dedicated herself to empowering artists not just to perform, but to thrive.

From mentoring musicians navigating the pressures of the modern music industry to integrating mental wellness strategies into creative practice, she brings a uniquely human, humorous, and highly practical approach to her work.

Michelle Ann believes that artistry and wellbeing are inseparable, and her sessions often include a mix of reflective coaching, creative exploration, and no-nonsense guidance that leaves clients inspired rather than intimidated.

Whether it’s helping a fledgling musician find their authentic voice or guiding established performers through periods of career transition, Michelle’s approach is rooted in empathy, insight, and a dash of light-hearted irreverence.

Through The Space Between, she has built a platform where artists can reconnect with their purpose, manage the stresses of the industry, and discover strategies for sustainable success. Her professional yet playful style has made her a go-to mentor for creatives seeking serious growth with a sense of humour intact.

Michelle Ann is not just a mentor; she’s the bridge between where artists are and where they want to be, one mindful, music-filled step at a time.

Michelle's Fantasy Cultural Year ... with a magic wand and time machine to hand.

In Michelle's Fantasy Cultural Year, Mark proposed the imaginative opportunity that a wealthy London-based family foundation wants to hire her and her associates for a year to run workshops in cities around the world. The mission? Supporting the well-being of musicians and actors globally.

The package is huge—enormous fee, first-class travel, and perks like a TV crew, book deal, TED talk, and a global lecture tour.

Michelle is keen to start in Los Angeles, drawn by its rich music industry history and the pressing need for care in the creative community there.

In LA

In a playful “what if” scenario, Michelle imagines being on a plane to LA when the Foundation challenges her to listen to only one genre of music for 12 months. She picks 80s rock, favouring double guitar and double bass drum.

Arriving in a stunning Hollywood home in Beverly Hills, she imagines watching Mikhail Baryshnikov perform in The Sleeping Beauty, followed by a dinner of her choice—leaving options open to explore LA’s international culinary scene.

Italian Art Adventure Daydream

Next, Michelle and Mark travel—at least in their imaginations—to Florence and Tuscany. Their daydream includes art museums, galleries, and Michelle’s tip for a hidden jewellery museum in Florence. Sports come into play too, with Michelle favouring mixed martial arts. They even picture a virtual reality art gallery in Siena, exploring 3D versions of works by artists like Degas.

Week in London

Back in London, they plan a fantasy cultural week packed with concerts, theatre, musicals, opera, and a film at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Michelle wants to relive her first Bruce Springsteen concert and see a live performance of Romeo and Juliet, plus the 1996 revival of Jesus Christ Superstar. They also imagine a lunch with Barbara Streisand, where Michelle hopes to learn about her stage fright.

The interview wraps up with a “this or that” game, where Michelle consistently chooses adventurous options—diving in at the deep end and opting for spicy food whenever possible.
