With over 25 years of experience in event planning and management, Paul Abbott possesses a rich reservoir of knowledge. From intimate meetings to grand conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and beyond, Paul has left his mark on a diverse array of venues.
His portfolio includes stunning performance events in concert halls and public spaces, showcasing his creativity and meticulous attention to detail.
Paul's journey from an events assistant to an independent events consultant, coach, trainer, and author was shaped by hands-on experience. Climbing the ranks to directorial positions, Paul amassed a broad spectrum of events under his belt. Renowned for his imaginative approach and precise execution, Paul has also served in leadership capacities as a non-executive director on various boards.
Before establishing his own events company Seratoner, Paul held the role of Director of Events at a Leeds Conservatoire, where he oversaw all facets of events, from programming to commercial sales.
Additionally, he served as the Artistic Director of a renowned contemporary music festival, where he showcased emerging talent alongside established industry figures.
Beyond his work with luminaries and industry leaders, Paul's commitment to community projects shines brightly. He channels his expertise into delivering exceptional events that spotlight the next generation of talent. A skilled composer and performer, Paul holds a PhD in Music from the University of York, showcasing his multifaceted talents and profound understanding of the arts.
